The harsh reality for many in Kendrapara is that poor families face the brunt of nature’s fury with no shield against the incessant rains, making them vulnerable to health crises and deepening economic struggles, especially during the extended rainy season here.
Our little support has provided much more than a simple shield from the rain. Dharmansh USA worked with the local volunteers serving the area to identify the villages that needed an urgent help and helped distribute 400+ Umbrellas to the families who don’t even have an umbrella to face the rains. These umbrellas represent hope, dignity, and the ability for families to continue their daily lives—farming, attending school, and earning a living—without the constant threat of nature’s fury.
We are thrilled to share that the distribution of these umbrellas has been a resounding success.
